Our Ale House is one of Hopland's oldest structures - a striking 100 year-old brick building that was once called the Hop Vine Saloon. The inside walls are still covered with the original turn of the century ornamental stamped tin that was considered most fashionable. The focal point of the alehouse is, of course, the bar. This we handcrafted from blond oak and brass. The design is based on an early California style and complements the tradition of old taverns. And we dare say that our beers taste all the better for it!

The restaurant portion of our Ale House had to be closed in October 2003 due to the lease expiring and the landlord had other plans for the space. However, through special arrangements that have been made with several nearby establishments, there is plenty of fine local food available that can be consumed on the premises with any of our Fine Ales that are always on tap. Just ask your Bartender for a menu. In addition, we have pre-packaged snacks available in the Ale House.
