RED TAIL LAGER TO BE RELEASED IN APRIL OF 2005!
April, 2005 – Mendocino Brewing Company proudly announces the release of Red Tail Lager. Red Tail Lager is naturally hand-crafted, using only the finest ingredients: barley malt, yeast, hops, and water, resulting in a Lager Lover’s Delight!
Mendocino Brewing Company was established in 1983 as California’s first Brewpub at Hopland. It is renowned as a pioneer in the American Craft Brewing Renaissance and is in distribution with ‘Red Tail Ale’ in 37 states and Canada.
We will first distribute our new Red Tail Lager in Northern California through draft accounts. Packaged beer in 6 pack cartons will become available later in June.

Lighter in body than our Red Tail Ale, Red Tail Lager is fermented at cold temperatures using our traditional lager yeast. “It took 21 years to make a lager worthy of the Red Tail name. Red Tail Lager delivers a rich refreshing flavor with a smooth light feel and a crisp sweet finish.”

Description: Medium body, red hued color, snow white head, lightly hopped, faint spicy aroma, hand crafted lager flavor, clean sweet finish.
