20th Anniversary Celebration !

Join the celebration of our 20th Anniversary with our founders, friends, and loyal customers. The Hopland Brewery and Pub first opened in August of 1983, and we were the first brewpub in California since prohibition. What a trip it's been!

Mendocino Brewing Company Celebrates 20th Anniversary!
Saturday 16th of August 2003, Hopland, California – Join the celebration of our 20th Anniversary with our founders, friends, and loyal customers. The Hopland Brewery and Pub first opened in August of 1983, and we were the first brewpub in California since prohibition. What a trip it has been!
Festivities will include:
· Starting around noon, we will open for lunch, and set the mood with music from the 80’s.
· Try our latest release ‘Raptor Red Lager’!
· Ford Brothers Band will be ‘Kicking it up a notch” with their unique sound from 3pm to 6pm.
· The Hopland Pub Grill Masters will be preparing their version of ‘Iron Chef’ cranking up the grills for a hot summer BBQ!
· Special Tee shirts and pint glasses commemorating the event will be available for sale.

As a special treat, we will be tapping into the newest brew from our Master Brewer, Don Barkley, Raptor Red Lager! This is a full flavored brew, using no corn or rice as in most lagers. True to the Craft movement we helped create 20 years ago, Raptor Red Lager has the very best barley malt, hops, yeast, and natural water. Come on by and be a part of Craft Brewing History by celebrating 20 years of brewing excellence!
