MBC's New Bottling Line !

August 30, 2002 -- Major Bottling Line Upgrade !

Mendocino Brewing Company's Ukiah California brewery has recently commissioned a new High Speed Bottling Line. With sales figures up last year and this year too, it became clear that a major equipment upgrade would be needed just to keep up with rising consumer demand for our ales. MBC President Yashpal Singh was quoted as saying, "It's time to step up to the next level. Let's do it!"

Especially with the recent debut of our new White Hawk Select IPA, we just can't seem to make enough!

Re-designed and rebuilt, literally from the ground up, this line is fast! New machinery installed included a computer controlled H-K Filler/Crowner, Krones Solomatic Labeler, ABC Case Erector, Standard-Knapp Case Packer, Bevco Bottle Rinser, Elliot Case Sealer, a variable speed conveyor system along with a host of other support equipment. This new bottling line is capable of consistent quality filling and packaging at a speed of 350 bottles per minute, which is nearly three times as fast as the old bottling line. This is not only going to improve efficiencies but will also ensure consistent quality production at higher levels.
