White Hawk IPA Released !
June 10, 2002 -- WHITE HAWK SELECT IPA RELEASED IN HOPLAND !
On May 31, 2002 , White Hawk Select IPA was "Released" in our Hopland Brew Pub as Brew Master Don Barkley poured the first pint!
Family, friends, and special guests were on hand to witness history in the making.
White Hawk is our first new bird in 17 years.
The IPA recipe is based on the original 1880 brew that was sent to India for the British troops.
In attendance were Sarah Hopkins, the Artist who designed the White Hawk displayed on the label, John Scahill, founder and brewery engineer, Don Barkley, our Brew Master, Bob Brown and Bob Angell from Angell Distributing, Keith Tabayoyon from Bay Area Distributing, Steve and Buffy Corrigan from Golden Brands Distributing, Kevin Peterson and John Alaos from Golden Gate Distributors, Chuck and Linda Santoni of McCormick Beverage along with our sales and marketing staff, Sharon Cline, Keith Stevenson, Deb Vadnais, Matt Gaskill, Anthony Sanchez, Ron Russo, Bill Hemmen, and Erick Kremer. Also, a special thanks to our Hopland Pub staff including Jim Kurzava, Pub Manager, along with our Bar Manager TJ, and Chef Larry .

White Hawk Select IPA draft will be released to the local California distributors next week, with our White Hawk IPA in bottles being conditioned as we speak. These White Hawks will be released in July.
We expect to have distribution in August in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Hawaii.
