White Hawk IPA ! May 12, 2002 -- White Hawk Original IPA to be released in June 2002! Mendocino Brewing Company proudly announces the release of White Hawk Select IPA draft on Saturday, June 1st, 2002 at our Brewpub!(Located on US Highway 101, in Hopland, California) We invite you and your friends to drop in and join us in our celebration as we tap into the newest brew from our very own, world renowned Master Brewer, Don Barkley! Don and his "Brew Crew" are very excited about this latest brew, saying it's a 'Very Big, “GRIPPING” Beer!' White Hawk is a traditional IPA . We’ve blended American West Coast Cascade Hops with a very generous dose of English Fuggle Hops. Alcohol By Volume = 7.0% Bitterness Units = 60 IBU ( You “Hopheads” will love this brew! ) This combination makes for a very aromatic character, as well as a truly authentic English flavor which you must taste to believe.
