Mendocino Brewing Company's flagship brand "RED TAIL ALE" has been awarded top honors in yet another highly competitive taste test conducted by the Beverage Testing Institute/Tastings panels.
The results of the taste test are published in the May 2001 edition of the internationally renowned "All About Beer" magazine. "2001 Buyers Guide for Beer Lovers. End of the century--The Best of the Best"

"Bright Yellow Amber. Medium Bodied. Mild Bitterness. Moderately hopped. Balanced malt. Dried flowers, elegant hop aromas have a mildly fruity note. Crisp grainy bite on the palate with a fruity edge through a delicate finish. Full fine-beaded carbonation. Crisp, clean style is very drinkable."
